I have a powerglide trans for my 5.3 and when I move the torque converter around the insides rattle a little. I flushed it out using gas and a air hose gun. Do you think it would be alright and would it be alright to just get the car on the road and then have a good converter built after I put the turbo on it? Any help from RUclipsrs would be appreciated????? Thank you!

Question about the location of the spacer that goes between the disc brake packing plate does it go before the retainer for the bearing or do you need to press the bearing off to install the spacer?

You only need the blue connector. On the connector, you only need pin 19-12v switched ignition, pin 20-12v constant, pin 59-serial data, and pin 60-ground.

Question so I have a 68 Firebird and I want to convert it to 4 wheel disks it's got the 4 piston front caliper brakes factory all brand new upgraded uh with new calipers So couple of things I wanted to do the Act breaks but the wheels are 15 now they're old style rikens they're pretty cool wheels don't really want to change them because you can't find them in 1617 or bigger is there a conversion kit with the rotors where they would fit with the 15 inch wheels that's one question the other question is the 684 piston caliper front brakes came with a metering valve Which I believe keeps the front desk breaks from lock up does that need to be deleted I found a power break system from a 69 sport Tempest Everything fits it's all on there even the rotors fit except the differences the 69 Tempest has one piston caliper front brakes so though I have the spindles the rotors the brackets complete for that car I didn't go to the 1 piston calipers it still has the factory for pistic helper brakes

You set camber with the wheel straight! At one point he looked at camber with the wheel turned out on the left side. Then later he looked at the camber with the wheel straight and wondered why he had 3+°. Good luck.. I have a similar tool. It has taken a while to learn time use it correctly and to make the moves on the upper A arms. But I have spent a lot of money on front end alignments that were just close, not correct.

I got one a couple months ago. So far so good. I just can’t figure out how to balance left and right speakers. I’ll see if I can find it on the remote. Thx for the idea. 👍🏻

How did you get around the issue of the center caps on the front not fitting? These are known to interfere with the bearing nut.

You know I got caltracs on my car too I got the whole package the split mono the shocks the Calvert bars but listen I found something Nicole Gap brackets and they're from a guy named Nikki Bobby Incorporated it's Alex Taylor's boyfriend fiance whatever anyway the caltrac bracket that goes underneath the axle where are you bolts are instead of having just that one hole for the bar link and going up to the eye in the front of the leaf spring to have the two well the one that goes to the u-bolts on the axle has four you know on the caltracs Gap bracket when it goes to the u-bolts and has two holes one in the front one in the back for the shocks cuz I don't know if mustang is pin on pin for shocks and I don't know if you if the Nova's and Camaros are 10 on pin but what I did was I sliced off one of the holes for the pin on the shock and welded onto the cat from Nicky babi and that helped because now I have more of a selection now in my bracket that goes under the axle then I have four holes instead of the one I would check that out

Those sliders are supposed to be the way you got it set up with like 3/4 of the way back you know

I got a 67 mustang and my rear is kicked over to the right like maybe 3/8 to a half inch so I think that's just how they made them back in the day you know cars just were built you know it's just I don't think there's anything wrong with the Nova dude I think that's just how they built them back in the day

With an alignment bar couldnt you have welded on 9 inch ends? Gotta buy axles anyways. Explorer brakes will bolt right on to big bearing Torino ends.

what type of ride did this give you was it a stiff ride because i have a 2006 chevy cobalt and the ride is stiff where i feel every bump in the road and i hate it.And i have new struts and shocks and new tires.

Hold up Red Blue is the 0411 aka P01 and the Green Blue is the P59. The difference is 500kb or 1Mb with the P01 starting in 99 to 02 Truck and 99 to 03 vettes and P59 03-07 Truck and 04 vettes. Now the throttle body being DBW or DBC is 100% dictated by the OS and you can swap the OS as I have a RED BLUE P01 in my 02 C5 and it is DBW, and I am swapping to a 03 Truck P59 but gonna give it the 04 vette OS that can run flexfuel while also having the 3 bar Map code mod available as flex came out in 02 and you can easily find Tahoe/Suburban OS from that year with Flex tables, but it only gives you the 2 bar mod as an option. Let alone the changes from a 02 C5 to 04 is less than a 02 C5 to a Tahoe.

Woud you have it balanced if it was a gen3 engine with gen4 rod and pistons?

When using gen4 rods and pistons on a gen 3 crank should do you have to get it balanced?

Was it oil pressure? Have a similar issue

What was your tps idle voltage without car running. And also when running at idle? Cause I know the tps volts drop about .02 when car is running. Mine is .52 car off and .50 car running. Reply would be appreciated

Rob I've used air tools using impact gun you just need to be really careful and slowly pull the trigger of the impact gun 🔫 I never had any problems ever.
